Alan Scott

Non-Executive Chairman

Mr Scott is currently Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of HiTec Energy Ltd and was formerly Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aurora Gold Limited. Prior to this Mr Scott spent 22 years working with Rio Tinto Limited/CRA Limited, with involvement in joint venture management, finance, acquisitions and divestments, commercial negotiations and project engineering. Mr Scott qualified as an accountant and spent 13 years working with Coopers & Lybrand in Sydney, Montreal, London and Wollongong before moving into the mining industry.

Mike Haynes

Managing Director

Mr Haynes has more than 15 years experience in the international mineral exploration industry. Mr Haynes graduated from the University of Western Australia with an honours degree in geology and geophysics and has explored for a wide variety of ore deposit styles throughout Australia and extensively in Southeast and Central Asia, Africa, South America and Europe. Mr Haynes has held technical positions with both BHP Minerals and Billiton plc. He ran his own successful consulting business for a number of years providing professional geophysical and exploration services to both junior and major resource companies. He has worked extensively on project generation and acquisition throughout his career.

Mr Haynes was a founding director of Iberian Resources Limited, which recently merged with Tamaya Resources Limited. He is a founder and Chairman of Overland Resources Limited, Chairman of Genesis Minerals Limited and a founder and director of Bellamel Mining Limited.

Matthew Wood

Director

Mr Wood has an honours degree in geology from the University of New South Wales and a graduate certificate in mineral economics from the Western Australian School of Mines. Mr Wood has over 15 years experience in the resources sector with both major and junior resource companies and has extensive experience in the technical and economic evaluation of gold and base metal projects throughout the world. Mr Wood’s expertise is in project identification, negotiation, acquisition and corporate development. In addition, he has been involved with, or led, successful discovery teams responsible for the discovery and definition of a number of gold and base metal deposits including the Challenger gold deposit in South Australia and the Fortitude and Rosemont gold deposits in Western Australia.

Mr Wood was a founding director of Iberian Resources Limited. He is a founder and Chairman of Bellamel Mining Limited and Avanco Resources Limited, Chairman of Signature Brands Limited and a founder and director of Overland Resources Limited.

Tim Flavel

Company Secretary

Mr Flavel is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Company Secretary, with over 20 years experience in the mining industry and accounting profession both in Australia and overseas. Mr Flavel currently assists a number of resources companies operating throughout Australia, the Americas, Africa and Europe with financial accounting, stock exchange compliance and regulatory activities.
